Our Board of Trustees is an established group of volunteers who serve without compensation on behalf of Peconic Landing. The accomplished men and women who serve on our Board provide the needed advice and governance to better serve our residents. Recognized by local community businesses and corporations, our current Board Chairman, John May, was awarded Trustee of the Year by the New York Association of Homes and Services for the Aging.
Peconic Landing Housing Association Cooperative, Inc.
Our unique equity program grants Peconic Landing residents’ membership to the Housing Association, a cooperative corporation. Ownership of a Peconic Landing share certificate provides the member the right to occupy their residence, access the community amenities and receive specific maintenance and housing services.
The Housing Association Cooperative Board is a seven-member board with four appointed members and three members elected by the residents of the community.
