Peconic Landing earned the distinctive five–year accreditation as a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) and Person-Centered Long Term Care Community, joining a coveted list of about 8% of CCRCs in the country to have achieved this distinction.
The prestigious recognition is like earning a Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval. A CCRC that earns accreditation through the Continuing Care Accreditation Council (CCAC) and Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) is commended on its quest for quality programs and services.
The Shores at Peconic Landing also earned national recognition from CARF for quality programs and is the sole recipient of Person-Centered Long Term Care Community accreditation in the New York Metropolitan Area.
